Benchmarks

This benchmarks section aims at evaluating the performance of various MacOS emulators. So far, only Basilisk II, SheepShaver and PearPC are compared against a real PowerMac system.

• PowerPC 7410 at 400 MHz, MacOS X 10.2.8
• Xeon at 3.2 GHz, Mandrakelinux 10.1 for x86-64

• nBench is a port of the BYTEmark benchmark to Linux/Unix platforms.
• AltiVec Fractal Carbon is a numerically-intensive parallel graphics application that uses the Velocity Engine, a.k.a. AltiVec for its computations.
